Dr. Kevin C. Smith is a pediatric psychologist in the Sleep Disorders Center at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his Ph.D. at Virginia Commonwealth University and is board certified in sleep behavior medicine. Dr. Smith serves as a board member of the Interdivisional Healthcare Committee of the American Psychological Association, the Accreditation Committee of the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and Sleepyhead Beds – a non-profit organization that supplies children in need with beds and cribs. His research interests and activities include hospital employee sleep health, and sleep quality of pediatric inpatients and their families.
