Why doesn’t my baby sleep well?
If your baby doesn’t sleep well, think about two main things: your baby herself and the environment around her. Regarding your baby, think about whether or not there is anything bothering her physically that could be disrupting her sleep. For instance, she might have a cold or an ear infection, or even something bothering her belly. She may also simply be going through a typical developmental milestone – those can disrupt sleep, too. Regarding the things around her, think about where she sleeps and her environment. For example, it may be too hot or noisy in her sleep space. Or, it might be too bright. Thinking about her bedtime and bedtime routine can also help. Consistency is really key!
