My baby has reflux. What should I do?
If your little one has reflux, or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), there is a really good chance that it will affect her sleep. Be sure to talk to your health care provider to make sure that the reflux is well treated. You can also do things like avoid making feedings the last thing before bedtime. When your baby lies flat the reflux will likely occur again. You can also try propping him up by putting sturdy bricks under two of the legs of his crib (raising the head of the crib) or talking to your health care provider about whether or not your little one would do better sleeping while in something like a car seat (in a seat that is safe for sleeping).
