Is it okay to let her use a pacifier?
In the sleep world we really like when babies use pacifiers for two main reasons. First, in infants, pacifiers can reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Second, pacifiers are a positive sleep habit – in other words, she can use it to fall asleep at night without needing the adult to help. At about 7-months-old, babies can find their pacifier on their own. When your baby is old enough, place a pile of pacifiers in a corner of the crib so she can learn to get one on her own!About Dr. Melisa Moore
