How do I stop worrying about him overnight?

Many, many caregivers experience this – it’s very common – you are not the only one. You might wake up or realize all of the sudden that your little one has been quiet and asleep for much longer than usual and it makes you wonder what could be wrong. That’s natural and normal. If you have a baby monitor, you can check on the monitor. You can even go in and check on him, although I don’t recommend waking him up. Instead, once you’ve checked, focus on yourself and your own breathing to relax. After a few weeks you should be able to sleep better. If you are still having trouble after a few weeks, check with your own health care provider for some suggestions.
