He has his days and nights switched. What can I do?

Your newborn is awake at night and asleep during the day because they do not have a sense of the difference between daytime and nighttime. This develops over time (several weeks), but there are a few things you can do to help your newborn. During the daytime, keep the lights on and have active, exciting playtime with your baby. At, keep the interaction quiet and calm with the lights dim. Use a night light at night to help you.

During the day, you can also wake your baby for his typical feedings and expose him to a good amount of daylight during the day.
