In an effort to answer a question commonly asked through Google – why don’t babies sleep at night – Paul Kelley presents several elements of the importance of sleep for moms throughout pregnancy – including the fact that it is essential for giving birth. He even discusses prenatal sleep for babies – mentioning that babies begin to sleep at about the 32nd week of pregnancy. Finally, he clearly summarizes many factors that contribute to a baby’s sleep including genetics, developmental patterns, and things in the environment such as daylight and temperature.
