
Researchers in Australia implemented and studied an intervention for children (and their families) transitioning to school and a school schedule. Sleep problems of children who received the intervention (school consultation, specific sleep recommendations, and phone follow-up) improved more quickly than those who did not receive the intervention. Parent mental health and child psychosocial functioning also improved.
